Anna Clarice Patrimonio Shines Again With Gold & Silver At 2025 WPC Asia Pickleball Open In Thailand

Just weeks after her podium finish at the 2025 World Pickleball Championship in Vietnam, the Philippines’ Anna Clarice Patrimonio delivered yet another standout performance—this time at the WPC Asia Pickleball Open Powered by Wine Connection, held from March 4–9, 2025 at the Greta Resort and Sport Club in Pattaya, Thailand.

The 31-year-old Filipina continued her dominant run on the international pickleball stage, capturing gold in the Women’s Singles 19+ Open category after a closely contested final against India’s Mihika Yadav, finishing 21–17.

Patrimonio also added a silver medal in the Women’s Doubles 19+ Open division, teaming up with Indonesia’s Karina Dwipayani. The duo advanced to the finals with a commanding 15–6 victory over Thailand’s Suparat Baebdee and the Philippines’ Bambi Zoleta. In the gold medal match, however, they fell to Singapore’s Kai Fen Yi and Ting Wen Wang, who clinched the title with a dominant 21–5 win. Baebdee and Zoleta earned the bronze.

Heading into the tournament, Patrimonio held a Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) of 5.099 in doubles and 4.924 in singles. With her strong showing in Pattaya, both ratings are poised for a well-deserved boost.

Patrimonio’s back-to-back medal runs in Vietnam and Thailand further solidify her as a rising force in Asian pickleball, and her success is a clear reflection of the Philippines’ growing presence in the sport.
