A Global Legacy Of Pickleball Excellence

The World Pickleball Championship (WPC) Series has built a strong reputation for staging top-tier competitions worldwide. Since its landmark debut in 2019 with a $100,000 prize pool event in Punta Gorda, Florida, the series has expanded across multiple continents, bringing professional pickleball action to Asia, Europe, and Australia. Past tournaments, including the Asia Pickleball Open in Thailand and the European Pickleball Open in Spain, have showcased the sport’s global appeal and rapid growth.

Pickleball’s Rising Presence In South Korea

Following the success of WPC Korea 2024 in Andong, which drew nearly 500 participants, including 150 international players, the sport continues to gain traction in South Korea. The 2024 event featured men’s and women’s singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, catering to a diverse range of athletes across various age groups.

The upcoming 2025 WPC Korea in Jeju is set to build on this momentum, providing a competitive platform for players of all ages and skill levels. With South Korea’s increasing enthusiasm for pickleball, this event is expected to further elevate the sport’s presence in the region.
